- M6 --> outer diameter 6 mm --> 10 windings per cm
- M8 --> Outer diameter 8 mm --> 8 windings per cm
- M10 --> outer diameter 10 mm --> 6.67 windings per cm
- 1/4’ --> 1/4 inch = approx. 6.35 mm outer diameter --> approx. 7.8 windings per cm
- 5/16’ --> 5/16 inch = outer diameter approx. 7.87 mm --> approx. 7 windings per cm

The Superspike is nothing more than a spike that rests FREELY on a sub-spike, which cannot move except vertically. In practice, the spike always falls into the centre of the sub-spike, with no possibility of error whatsoever. Simple and ingenious at the same time. But that's not all, in fact the Superspike is constructed from different materials depending on the function it is to perform. Thus, the spike itself is made of a high-quality hardened steel (2) while the part immediately above it is made of gold-plated zinc (3) in order to reduce the resonances of the spike underneath. The under-spike (4) is also made of zinc while the recess into which the spike fits is made of soft metal (5). The outer body containing the entire structure is made of (1) simple transparent ABS. As you will have noticed, every detail has been studied down to the smallest detail.
