TESTO DA INSERIRE
DeoxIT GOLD (an evolution of ProGold G5) is a unique solution for treating gold-plated metal connectors and contacts, which increases their electrical conductivity. 2ml tube
Provides long-lasting protection on gold, silver, rhodium, copper and nickel surfaces.
DeoxIT GOLD G5 outperforms all other contact and lubricant liquids. With its unique properties, it deoxidises and cleans contaminated surfaces, penetrates plated surfaces and binds to base metal molecules. NO OTHER PRODUCT HAS THIS EFFECT. DeoxIT GOLD increases the performance and reliability of all electrical appliances. It increases conductivity and achieves greater definition and dynamics, reduces noise and interference, and lowers distortion. Unlike other products, it also stabilises electrical connections between similar and dissimilar metals. DeoxIT GOLD provides long-lasting protection (1 to 10 years) on gold, silver, rhodium, copper, nickel and other precious conductive metals.
Chemical and physical changes on connector and contact surfaces are the primary cause of degraded component and system performance. When contact surfaces are exposed to dust, smoke, gases, non-metallic substances, conductivity is inhibited. Additional resistance and friction between metal surfaces increase abrasion, noise and contact interruptions.
A common problem with plated surfaces, especially those made of gold, is corrosion of the underlying base metals due to the soft and porous nature of gold. Once exposed, base metals oxidise quickly causing bubbles on the surface and increasing electrical resistance. Contact surfaces are then reduced due to these microscopic bubbles. Since gold surfaces are plated very thinly, they are exposed to scratches and abrasions, making it easier to expose the underlying metals.
Conductivity across a surface treated with DeoxIT GOLD occurs in three ways. First, DeoxIT GOLD can be removed by an electric arc, electric shock or mechanical pressure, but will redistribute itself on the surface when the disturbing phenomenon ceases. Secondly, the light protective layer of DeoxIT GOLD can be dispersed by an electric field. Finally, conductivity takes place through a very thin layer of DeoxIT GOLD according to a quantum mechanical phenomenon called the 'tunnel effect'. Avoiding a treatise on physics but put very simply, electrons move from one side to the other of the thin layer of DeoxIT GOLD without passing through it. DeoxIT GOLD bridges the gap between the two contact surfaces, increasing surface area and conductivity. DeoxIT GOLD penetrates the plated surface and bonds to the underlying base metal molecules, sealing and protecting them. In contrast to other products, DeoxIT GOLD provides long-term protection (1 to 10 years) and does not thicken, evaporate, lacquer, carbonise or deteriorate over time.
DeoxIT GOLD covers the entire contact surface, providing superior protection against abrasion from insertion and removal of connectors, corrosion, dirt, atmospheric contamination and interference. DeoxIT GOLD significantly increases the performance and reliability of all electrical equipment and systems.
