A clearly audible step forward from Rocket 11, Rocket 22 is a high-performance, low-noise CL3 / FT4-certified cable designed to adapt quickly and easily to Full-Range or Single-BiWire applications, making it an outstanding choice for customised use by installers and enthusiasts. With no breakouts, pants or braids to cut and dress, preparation is as simple as possible.
AudioQuest SureGrip 300 bananas and forks, with Direct-Silver plating and no distortion-causing nickel intermediate layer, are the perfect complement to the Rocket 22.
FEATURES
Long Grain and Perfect Surface Copper Conductors: Rocket 22 uses a carefully finished blend of Long Grain Copper (LGC) and Perfect Surface Perforated Copper (PSC). LGC has fewer impurities and fewer internal grain joints than standard OFHC copper, while the even smoother and cleaner surface of PSC further eliminates hardness and improves clarity. All AudioQuest conductors are directionally controlled for optimal noise dissipation.
Ideal for Full-Range or Single-BiWire configurations: Use Rocket 22 as a full-range cable, with red (+) and black (-) conductors bundled together, or, when speakers provide separate bass and treble inputs, further optimise system performance by biwiring.
Semi-solid True-Concentrent conductor design: In a True-Concentric conductor design, each successive layer of conductor spiral moves in the opposite direction to its underlying layer. This technique eliminates contact lines between adjacent conductor layers, while increasing the pressure at the contact points, thereby significantly reducing contact wire interaction and its accompanying distortion.
Dual Low-Inductance Geometry: A typical speaker cable with parallel conductors has a rather high inductance, which scatters energy over time, resulting in a dull, fuzzy sound. In Rocket 22, the two conductors in each half of the cable are twisted around each other, providing lower inductance, greater clarity and superior bass frequency extension
