DESCRIPTION
Winner of numerous tests, it is the best cable for analogue audio interconnects from the Swedish company SUPRA (example: from CD player to amplifier). Not only is it one of the world's best cables for analogue applications, but it can also be used for digital audio as a 75 ohm RCA interface or for video interconnects.
"The EFF I cable is a rather special signal cable and, although it is not the latest Supra cable, it is still in production, given the discreet commercial success it has achieved. It costs relatively little considering the technology and materials used. EFF stands for Equalised Frequency Flow and refers to the particular technique used to minimise the skin effect in the conductors. The conductors are tinned OFC copper tubes, each 0.75 mm2 in cross-section, with a central polyethylene core. The shield is an aluminium foil that independently insulates the two conductors."
"Recommendations for use:The Supra EFF-I's excellent shielding also makes it ideal as a phono cable, proving to be very quiet, perhaps one of the most interference-free cables I've experienced so far. Recommended therefore also between turntable and pre/ampli...."
