The Van Den Hul D-502 HYBRID is the dual version of the D-501 HYBRID. In terms of sound performance this is one of the best Van Den Hul products among cables in this price range, which is relatively low; it is most often used for connecting turntables, microphones and consoles or turntable arms to the amplifier.
The D-502 is a hybrid (OFC Copper-Silver-Carbon Linear Structure) with a very high shielding factor that is sold here in a semi-balanced version complete with 4 Van Den Hul C-4.0 connectors.
Professor Van Den Hul teaches metallurgy in the Netherlands and is one of the pioneers of composite materials.
In addition to OFC copper and silver, there is also conductive carbon fibre in the cable.
