NCF Ceramic Piezo Series Connectors - A Furutech First!
Furutech's Pure Transmission FI-E50 NCF series Piezo Ceramic connector bodies and housings feature several revolutionary construction techniques.

A non-magnetic, multilayer plated stainless steel fiber shell incorporates a special damping and insulating acetal copolymer. Furutech opted for stainless steel and silver carbon fiber for the outer shell after extensive listening sessions with Japanese industry figures and audiophiles.

The connector housing incorporates an "active" damping material: Nano Crystal² Formula - Nano crystalline, piezoelectric ceramic and carbon powder
Nano Crystal² Formula --- NCF Powder is a special crystalline material that has two "active" properties. How far will Furutech's engineers go in their attempts to achieve the benchmark quality of Pure Transmission? Their concentrated examination of every single element of signal transfer has led to another revolutionary technology, the Furutech Earth / Ground Jumper System. It eliminates electromagnetic interference (EMI) induced in metal parts such as connector housing screws.

The current flowing through the power connector creates a magnetic field, just as an insulated conductor creates electromagnetic and electrostatic fields. Furutech engineers found that this magnetic field induces current flow (and a small magnetic field) in the screws that hold the connector together! These magnetic fields interfere with the larger magnetic field around the conductor and connector.

Furutech's total attention to detail and elegant engineering solve this problem perfectly. The ground/earth jumper system connects the attachment screws to a grounding terminal inside the socket, completely eliminating the field disturbances they cause.
