Compact high-performance IEC C13 connector with Red Copper and Beryllium Silver-plated contacts. Non-metallic ABS body. Accepts cables with diameters between 14 mm and 20 mm.

Mistral AC plugs are suitable for any AC cable with an outer diameter between 14 mm (0.55") and 20 mm (0.79"). These new plugs use the same exceptional base metals found in our sophisticated Storm Series models: high-purity red copper and extremely strong beryllium copper, the latter specifically for those parts of the connector that require the highest tensile or spring resistance. As in all our more sophisticated plugs, the High-Purity base metals are treated with our Hanging-Silver Plating process in which the male contacts of the wall plug are immersed in a pool of pure silver, dispensing with the typical intermediate layers of metal alloy, thus creating a soundly superior part.
Furthermore, we recognised that the ungrounded metal connector housings act as antennas for radio frequency noise, which is capacitively coupled to the cable and subsequently distorts or masks valuable low-level audio signals. Therefore, unlike typical AC plugs whose housings are fabricated, plated or painted with metallic materials, Mistral plugs feature attractive, non-metallic ABS housings.
