DESCRIPTION

Delicately crafted from pure copper - the signal line for the new nextgen™ WBT-0610 Cu banana connector. Directly gold-plated with a nickel-free finish to prevent oxidation. This ensures high conductivity and the absence of magnetic interference. The contact pin is shaped so that its three segments expand when the spindle is rotated. The resulting consistently high contact pressure ensures consistently low transition resistances.

Like the WBT-0645, the nextgen™ banana connector takes up less space when installed and allows for more compact equipment configuration when space is limited. The WBT-0610 Cu is also cable-friendly: the angle leads the cable directly to earth and cannot be damaged by kinks.

Despite the delicacy of the signal conductor, the WBT-0610 is perfectly suited for the crimping technique. The two Torx screws are used to fix the end of the crimped cable and the second screw secures the cable to prevent tension. Thanks to the complete insulation, the cable is safe to the touch and therefore complies with IEC standards. The safety pin also prevents accidental insertion of the plug into the socket. This makes the WBT-0610 Cu fully CE-compliant.

The connector can accommodate a maximum cable diameter of 10 mm² / 8 AWG
