Furutech introduces the top-of-the-line CF-601M NCF XLR connector. This is Furutech's first high-performance balanced signal connector featuring Nano Crystal² Formula (NCF). This material is the cumulative result of Furutech's 30-year effort to eliminate electrical and mechanical resonances from signal and power transmission in high-performance audio and video applications. With dramatic noise reduction, improved imaging and focus, and improved sound staging, the CF-601M NCF will take your listening pleasure to the next level.

Body Material and Damping Clip Nano Crystal² Formula (NCF)
CF-601M NCF contacts are housed in a body made of an NCF liquid crystal polymer resin. The resin incorporates nylon, glass fiber, nanometer-sized piezo crystalline ceramic particles, carbon powder, and Furutech's special "NCF" anti-resonance damping material. The CF-601M NCF is also equipped with special damping clips of the same NCF material.
Incorporated in some Furutech products, NCF is a special crystalline material that has two "active" properties. First, it generates negative ions that eliminate static electricity. Second, it converts thermal energy into far infrared. Furutech combines this extraordinary material with nanometer-sized ceramic particles and carbon powder for their additional "piezoelectric effect" damping properties. The resulting Nano Crystal² Formula is the ultimate electrical and mechanical damping material. Created by Furutech, it is found exclusively in Furutech products.

Furutech's two-stage Alpha cryogenic and demagnetization process
Using state-of-the-art technologies and materials, Furutech has developed a two-stage low-temperature process that significantly improves every aspect of audio and video performance. Treatment begins during the manufacturing process with a deep cryogenic freezing and conditioning of all metal parts. Using high-quality refrigerants - liquid N2 or He - Furutech achieves temperatures between -196 and -250℃. At these extreme temperatures, the treated parts change their molecular structure, relieving internal stresses. The molecules bond more tightly and the overall structure becomes more stable. This improves electrical conductivity and thus power and signal transfer.
The second step of the Alpha process exposes these same parts to the patented ring demagnetization treatment. Normal high-power magnets used for this purpose often increase magnetic effects, leaving some areas more magnetized than others. This patented process uses controlled attenuation to eliminate magnetization and achieve instantly more vivid and colorful enhancements. Ring demagnetization further improves the conductivity of all treated materials.
ALL metal parts used in Furutech products undergo Alpha Process treatment to keep all connectors, conductors and metal parts in a perfect state of stress-free, stable and high conductivity.
