These XLR HICON HI-MARLIN XLR connectors, which are water and dust resistant according to IP67, repel a direct water jet or infiltration of moisture and can even be placed underwater without compromising function.
Many new cables in the professional audio technology industry have gas-injected foam insulation, which is why standard cable glands are not ideal. They crush the delicate wire insulations, thus affecting electrical values. Here the lamellar gasket with internal grommet offers the perfect solution. The pressure of the gland is evenly distributed over the entire cable diameter and does not compress either the sheath or the insulating material. Special emphasis is placed on the locking device, which is very convenient and extremely durable.
