The Q UP is a high-precision device that safely lifts your tonearm to the end of the record. The Q UP can be installed in minutes, without tools, and is designed to fit most manual turntables from unipivots to bearing-based turntables, but is not compatible with tangential tonearms. Based on a trigger and lift design, now reborn and modernised to work with classic or contemporary turntable/arm combinations. The Q UP can be configured for a variety of arm heights, thicknesses and shapes. It requires a flat space next to the arm of approximately 14mm, located on the plinth on which the arm is pivoted. In addition, the minimum height between the plinth and the arm base when the record is playing is 36mm. Three different height adapters, 10mm, 20mm and 30mm, are included. The Q UP only interacts with the tonearm at the end of the recording and does NOT affect the tonal quality of the system in any way. You don't have to worry about falling asleep while your record is playing or forgetting it is playing if you get distracted.
