The Van Den Hul D-502 HYBRID is the dual version of the D-501 HYBRID. As a sound performance this is one of the best Van Den Hul products among the cables in this price range, which is relatively low; it is mostly used for connecting turntables or turntable arms to the amplifier.
The D-502 is a hybrid (Copper OFC-Silver-Carbon Linear Structure) with a very high shielding factor, here sold in a 1 metre version terminated with Van Den Hul C-4.0 connectors and Van Den Hul 'The Tac' pentapolar connector.
Professor Van Den Hul teaches metallurgy in the Netherlands and is one of the pioneers of composite materials.
In addition to OFC copper and silver, there is also conductive carbon fibre in the cable.
