Coaxial Subwoofer Cable with Copper/Zinc/Silver and Carbon LSC Hybrid Conductor
The cable is supplied in one piece in the quantity purchased in multiples of 1m
Van Den Hul 'The SUB' HYBRID cable.
The renowned Dutch manufacturer wanted to apply the research and fusion technology achieved in high-end Hi-Fi to create a dedicated subwoofer cable.
This cable originates from the 'FUSION' series; the central conductor is a particularly accurate 'fusion' between the metals Copper, Zinc and Silver. After processing these very pure metals, the result is a cable with a linear atomic structure and free of crystallisation and internal disintegrations, which are the major factor causing unwanted spuriousness and harmonics.
Top-level sonic characteristics for this best buy.
Professor Van Den Hul is one of the pioneers of composite materials.
In addition to copper, zinc and silver, there is also LSC conductive carbon fibre in the cable.
Also available finished and in customised sizes
OTHER FEATURES
- FUSION stranded central conductor for transparency, image and resolution. Completely distortion-free.
- Low capacitance thanks to high-quality, low-loss dielectrics. This also means excellent dynamics and timing.
- Multiple shielding to keep the signal transfer clean of electrical noise and interference. Four layers ensure a high shielding factor and low shielding impedance.
- Hybrid technology means that the conductors are embedded in a conductive layer containing our Linear Structured Carbon. Applied in signal lines and cable shielding, L. S. C. enhances the quality and performance of the cable with additional mechanical and chemical protection; it prevents the formation of static electrical charges due to cable movement or other dynamic stresses (microphony) and further improves the cable's shield factor and noise immunity.
- Excellent protection against mechanical and chemical environmental factors. The silver-coated stranded conductors and robust yellow sheathing of the HULLIFLEX® cable guarantee very long life and degradation-free performance.
- The perfect solution for connecting any active subwoofer. It is available as a single cable terminated with our C - 8.4 gold-plated (unbalanced) RCA connectors and in any specified length.
Linear structure carbon (L.S.C.) is an unbroken chain of perfectly aligned carbon atoms in multiple individually insulated fibres.
This results in a very thermally, chemically and mechanically stable conductor, superior to any metal.
Its sound properties remain the same over time, unlike any metal.
By applying Linear Structured Carbon (L.S.C.) in our products, harsh sounds are avoided and, in doing so, spatial information is improved. Very smooth articulation of the midrange and extremely high resolution are the results of using L.S.C. Linear Structured Carbon. We apply it in this cable as unique conductors.
It is very flexible and combines high chemical stability with superb signal conductor protection.
It improves both the durability and sound quality of the product.
For obvious environmental reasons, Hulliflex contains no PVC or halogen materials.
