Nano Crystal² Formula (NCF).
Incorporated into selected Furutech products, NCF features a special crystalline material with two ‘active’ properties. First, it generates negative ions that eliminate static electricity. Secondly, it converts thermal energy into far infrared. Furutech combines this extraordinary material with nano-sized ceramic particles and carbon powder for their additional ‘piezoelectric effect’ damping properties. The resulting Nano Crystal² formula is the ultimate electrical and mechanical damping material. Created by Furutech, it is found exclusively in Furutech products.

The E-TP609 NCF is a sophisticated and luxurious single-chassis dual-section power distributor that eliminates many common problems encountered with audio and video components caused by heavily contaminated electrical power.
The AC waveform is severely distorted by ground noise, voltage spikes and sags, high-frequency power supply noise from other components in your system, as well as high-frequency digital noise radiated by processors and digital interconnects. There are also distortion products at the top and bottom of the AC waveform created by switching power supplies in electronic devices on the same circuit. Moreover, you are never alone; the residential AC power supply is shared with other flats, houses and businesses on the same utility transformer. This is why many audio and video enthusiasts notice that their systems are more fun late at night or on weekends!

How can you tell that you are a victim of polluted AC? Listen and look for these symptoms: flat, hard and grainy high frequencies, a thick and swollen midrange, fat and uncontrolled bass and loss of air and soundstage stability. e-TP609 NCF - The beautifully crafted special grade aluminium chassis effectively protects against another common problem, RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) and a layer of Formula GC-303 (see below) blocks EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference). The internal wiring is Furutech α-22, 3.8 sq. mm guaranteeing low resistance. Furutech Hyper Quality GTX-D NCF (R) high performance sockets are 'star wired'. FI-09 NCF (R) IEC AC input connector. The separate conductors for each of the 3 duplex sockets feature non-magnetic rhodium-plated pure copper conductors for stable, durable and optimised power transfer.

GC-303 Formula
GC-303 is a special material that Furutech bonds to the inner bottom plate of the chassis that absorbs EMI (electromagnetic interference) generated by the unit's internal fittings. The e-TP609 NCF does not use any filters other than Formula GC-303, so AC resistance is minimised, enabling more resolving, powerful, dynamic and colourful performance from your components.

Furutech's patent-pending axial locking system
Furutech has designed a special locking screw that secures each duplex socket, preventing oscillations and improving long-term stability. A special 3M material also surrounds and isolates each duplex outlet from resonance. Each Axial Lock is tightened perfectly to work with the 3M resonance control material.
