HDMI 2.1 Cable for High Performance Audio. Perfect for high resolution standards, 8K/10K - HDCP 2.2 - HDR - 48 Gbps - eARC
Available lengths selectable from drop-down menu.
The AudioQuest CINNAMON HDMI represents an exceptional value-for-money solution. The addition of 1.25 per cent silver plating compared to its predecessors and the care taken in HDMI geometry and performance give the CINNAMON excellent visual quality, for cleanliness and depth of image.
Like all AudioQuest HDMI cables, the CINNAMON is directional and uses high-density polyethylene insulation with a very high data transfer rate.
FEATURES
1.25% SILVER-PLATED SOLID CONDUCTORS
Solid conductors eliminate interaction distortion between the strands and reduce jitter. Silver-plated conductors are excellent for very high frequency applications, such as audio and HDMI video. These signals, being high-frequency, travel almost exclusively on the conductor surface. Since the surface is pure silver, the performance is very similar to that of a solid silver cable, but much closer to solid copper cable. This is an incredibly economical way to produce HDMI cables of the highest quality.
BAND WIDTH 48 Gbps
AudioQuest '48' HDMI cables can transfer up to professional Ultra-HD 10K video. The 48 Gbps bandwidth is made possible by 4 balanced audio/video pairs of 12 Gbps each. The precision and tighter manufacturing tolerances required to produce HDMI cables that transfer up to 48 Gbps bandwidth mean that many of AudioQuest's proven ingredients and techniques are more important than ever.
8K/10K
AudioQuest 48 Gbps HDMI cables have the bandwidth required for video with resolutions up to 10K and resolutions/refresh rates up to 8K/60 and 4K/120. All AudioQuest HDMI cables are fully compatible with existing 4K displays.
LEVEL 3 NOISE DISSIPATION (HDMI): CARBON + METAL + CONTROLLED DIRECTION
Traditional '100% shielding' is not enough to protect against the increasing effects of Wi-Fi, cellular and satellite radiation. In AudioQuest HDMI cables, all 19 conductors are directionally controlled to minimise RF noise that impairs performance by 'directing' or draining it from the most vulnerable circuits. Level 3 noise dissipation adds a layer of high-loss carbon sandwiched between layers of metal around the 4 FRL + eARC pairs to further enhance noise dissipation.
eARC: 1.25% SILVER + NOISE DISSIPLACEMENT LEVEL 2
Because sound is important, the eARC conductors in AudioQuest's 48 series HDMI cables receive the same love and affection, with the same superior metals, controlled-direction conductors, and noise-dissipation technologies as the main A/V data pairs. In AudioQuest's eARC-Priority cables, the main A/V data pairs have CINNAMON-level performance (0.5% solid silver + carbon from Forest 48 and level 3 noise dissipation from Vodka 48), while the eARC data pair and ground reference drain utilise all the same advanced design ingredients as their '48' counterparts. HDMI's Audio Return Channel (ARC) sends audio from a TV to a soundbar or AV receiver for greater simplicity and flexibility in system configuration. The hardware's previous ARC capabilities peak with 5.1-channel lossy (compressed) surround sound. Current HDMI 2.1 hardware supports the Audio Return Channel (eARC), which greatly increases the digital bandwidth to support high resolution uncompressed and lossless multi-channel audio, including Dolby TrueHD and Atmos, and DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS: X
RIGID FOAM INSULATION
Rigid foam insulation (HCF) ensures a critical signal pair geometry. Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Cable and circuit board insulation materials all absorb energy. Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. Rigid cell foam insulation is similar to the PE foam used in our cheaper Bridges & Falls cables, and is injected with nitrogen to create air pockets. Since nitrogen (like air) does not absorb energy and therefore does not release energy from or into the conductor, distortion is reduced. In addition, the stiffness of the material allows the cable conductors to maintain a stable relationship along the entire length of the cable, producing a stable impedance character and further reducing distortion.
HIGH-SPEED DATA CAPACITY
HDMI standards and capabilities have improved significantly since DVI first evolved into HDMI. All generations are backwards compatible. However, not all previous HDMI cables can transmit the 48 Gbps of data required to optimise today's HDMI 2.0 equipment.Audioquest HDMI cables are ideal for very high-speed data transmission. Their bandwidth allows transmission in 8K and 10K.
DIRECTIONS
All drawn metal wires or conductors have a non-symmetrical, and therefore directional, grain structure. AudioQuest controls the resulting RF impedance variation so that noise is discharged from where it will cause distortion. The correct direction is determined by listening to each batch of metal conductors used in each AudioQuest audio cable. Arrows are clearly marked on the connectors to ensure superior audio quality.
- A/V Conductor: Copper with 1.25% Silver
- eARC Conductor: 1.25% Silver
- Ground reference: 0.5% Silver
- Noise dissipation: metal layer + direction
- Cables over 5 metres have no braided sheathing.
