The AudioQuest FLX-slip speaker cable is a super-flexible two-core cable. The protective outer jacket is sleek enough to slip through walls with ease, making the FLX-slip the perfect choice for in-wall or in-ceiling loudspeakers, as well as for wiring the entire home cinema.

These wall-mounted speaker cables are designed to make life easier when installing behind walls and cavities. While no cable is perfectly slippery, the materials and shape used for the FLX-slip are at the forefront, making it possible for these cables to be slippery.

CONCENTRIC SEMI-SOLID COPPER CONDUCTORS

Semi-solid concentric conductors use fewer but larger copper strands, which do not change position over the entire length of the cable.

TERMINATIONS

A quality cable requires a quality termination. Bare wire and even DIY terminations leave copper conductors exposed to oxygen and thus signal degradation that will require new terminations over time.
The AudioQuest FLX SLIP 16/2 cable can be specially terminated with AudioQuest's BFA SureGrip plugs in our workshop, state of the art and well finished with heat shrink. Alternatively, we can apply any termination of your choice from our available connectors. Take your pick from our banana or spade connectors.

FEATURES

LONG GRAIN COPPER (LGC)

• LGC copper produces a sweeter and clearer sound than can be achieved with OFHC (Oxygen free high conductivity) copper.
• OFHC copper is the standard used for cable production. However, it is specifically designed to avoid ‘losses’ in transmission, without taking distortion into account.
• LGC copper has less oxidation within the conductors, fewer impurities and above all fewer ‘neighbourhood’ problems between the cables themselves.

GEOMETRY

The relationships between conductors influence the basic parameters of a cable (inductance and capacitance).Nevertheless, while keeping these variables properly balanced, the relationships between conductors can be varied in ways that greatly affect the sound.
The FLX's spiral construction allows for much better dynamic contrast, coupled with a more pronounced intelligibility than could have been achieved by letting the conductors travel in parallel
