This extraordinarily beautiful breed has a delightful temperament combined with keen intelligence and equally sharp independence of spirit. Although Huskies are seldom the best choice for watchdog duties (due to their irresistible instinct to run at any opportunity), they have a capacity for learning that has been described as 'bewildering'. The Huskies' natural instincts evolved from their historical origins as sled dogs for nomadic Siberian tribes to become loving and playful family dogs. DNA analysis has discovered that Huskies are one of the oldest dog breeds in the world.

FEATURES

SOLID COPPER CONDUCTORS WITH 5% SILVER IMPROVE SUBWOOFER PERFORMANCE: Solid conductors eliminate interaction distortion between the strands. Solid silver conductors are excellent for very high frequency applications. These signals, being high-frequency, travel almost exclusively on the surface of the conductor. Since the surface is pure silver, the performance is very similar to that of a solid silver cable, but much closer to copper cable. This is an incredibly economical way to produce subwoofer cables of the highest quality.

POLYETHYLENE AIR-TUBE INSULATION: Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Cable and circuit board insulation materials absorb energy. Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. AudioQuest, however, uses polyethylene air tube insulation on both conductors, for greater geometry stabilisation and clarity. Since air absorbs energy and polyethylene is low-loss and has a benign distortion profile, polyethylene air tube insulation, with its high air content, causes much less out-of-focus effect common with other materials.

DIELECTRIC POLARISATION SYSTEM WITH RADIOFREQUENCY TRAP: All insulation between two or more conductors is also a dielectric whose properties will affect signal integrity. When the dielectric is unbiased, the dielectric involvement (non-linear absorption and release of energy) causes different amounts of time delay (phase shift) for different frequencies and energy levels, which is a real problem for time-sensitive multi-optical audio. The inclusion of an RF trap (developed for AudioQuest's Niagara series of PowerQuest products) ensures that RF noise is not induced into the signal conductors by DBS field elements.

TRIPLE-BALANCED GEOMETRY (SEPARATE GROUND REFERENCE CONDUCTOR): Our triple-balanced geometry uses a separate ground reference conductor, so the cable shield is never used as a lower conductor. Whether prepared with RCA or XLR connectors, the cable's three conductors ensure that the positive and negative signals have equally superior, low-distortion conduction paths.

4-LAYER CARBON-BASED NOISE DISSIPATION SYSTEM: 100% shield coverage is easy to achieve. Preventing captured radio interference (RFI) from the modulation of the equipment ground reference requires QA's Noise Dissipation System (NDS). Conventional shielding systems typically absorb and then discharge noise/ RF energy to component ground, modulating and distorting the critical 'reference' ground plane, which in turn causes signal distortion. Alternating layers of metal NDS and carbon-filled synthetics 'shield the screen', absorbing and reflecting most of this noise / RF energy before it reaches the grounded layer.
