The Vodka HDMI cable adds 10% silver plating to the conductors of its solid-core predecessors. Like all AudioQuest HDMI cables, the Vodka uses high-density solid polyethylene insulation and precise geometry. Special attention has been paid to maximising HDMI performance, and indeed, AudioQuest HDMI cables push sonic performance to new levels.
Vodka 48 features 10% silver-plated copper conductors that have been directionally controlled for the most efficient dissipation of radio frequency noise; a high-loss carbon layer sandwiched between layers of metal around the 4 FRL + eARC pairs further enhances noise dissipation.

10% SILVER-PLATED CONDUCTORS
In AudioQuest HDMI cables, thicker layers of silver plating are applied to AudioQuest's long grain copper (LGC) conductors to improve noise dissipation. The placement of the top metal on the outside of the conductor produces the greatest advantage in overall performance, an extremely cost-effective way to maximise a digital cable. Vodka 48 uses 10% silver-plated copper for its conductors.

LEVEL 3 NOISE DISSIPLATION: CARBON + METAL + DIRECTIONALITY
Traditional ‘100 per cent shielding’ is not enough to protect against the increasing effects of Wi-Fi, cellular and satellite radiation. In AudioQuest's HDMI cables, all 19 conductors are directionally controlled to minimise performance-damaging RF noise by ‘routing’ it or offloading it from the most vulnerable circuits. Because sound is important, the eARC conductors in AudioQuest's 48 series HDMI cables receive the same love and affection, with the same superior metal, direction-controlled conductors and noise-dissipation technologies as the main AV data pairs. In the AudioQuest eARC-Priority cables, the main A/V data pairs have cinnamon-level performance, while the eARC data pair and ground reference drain all utilise the same advanced design ingredients as their ‘48’ counterparts. HDMI's Audio Return Channel (ARC) sends audio from a TV to a soundbar or AV receiver for greater simplicity and flexibility in system configuration. The hardware's previous ARC functionality reaches its maximum with 5.1-channel lossy (compressed) surround sound. Today's HDMI 2.1 hardware supports enhanced audio Return Channel (eARC), which dramatically increases digital bandwidth to support high-resolution uncompressed and lossless multi-channel audio, including Dolby TrueHD and Atmos, and DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS: X.

8K/10K
