16-channel multicore analogue cable. Conductor 30x0.005mmq (total 15mmq). Ideal for audio processing on multi-channel audio equipment
Sold by the metre in one piece in the quantity purchased.
Mogami multi-core cables are designed for the highest level of audio performance and have excellent electrical and mechanical characteristics while remaining compact, super-flexible and easy to use. They are ideal for digital audio processing on multi-channel audio equipment. The 2932 is known for its incomparable transparency and low noise levels.
CL2 classified version. The conductor size of the CL2 rated version is thicker #25AWG, so it is also recommended for robust applications and simpler and more stable crimp terminal connector wiring, as well as for NEC fire regulation requirements.
Individually twisted, 16-channel shielded pairs
Robust and flexible construction that is easy to handle, even at temperatures down to -20 C (-4 ̊F)
Easy cable identification system:
-
Channel numbers are printed and underlined on each core sheath to ensure correct identification, regardless of the stripped end.
-
The outer sheaths of each pair are colour-coded according to the standard resistor colour code, enabling quick identification of conductor pairs.
-
The inner conductors are also colour-coded according to the international standard resistor colour code. Each pair is colour-coded according to the combination of jacket and conductor colours.
Each channel has a drainage wire and a bare copper screen served (spiral). The earth wire simplifies termination and can be crimped with a contact of the same size as the inner conductor pair
XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation provides excellent electrical characteristics and does not melt or shrink during welding.
