The NEI-1001 interconnection cable combines three groups of PS-OCC silver conductors each with 4 multi-dimensional strands individually insulated with FEP (Teflon). Each of the 3 groups is insulated with microporous PTFE. The conductors are kept equidistant by the use of PE tubing. To repel RF and EM interference, a double shielding with a Cu-Mylar foil and a silver-coated copper braid has been applied to this cable to ensure 100% coverage. The outer jacket is made of PVC. In addition to reducing Cp, NEI-1001 also utilises a unique tubular design.
