The Van Den Hul D-502 HYBRID is the dual version of the D-501 HYBRID. As a sound performance this is one of the best Van Den Hul products among the cables in this price range, which is relatively low; it is mostly used for connecting turntables or turntable arms to the amplifier.
The D-502 is a hybrid (OFC Copper-Silver-Carbon Linear Structure) with a very high shielding factor here in a customised version with Van Den Hul C-4.0 connectors and Van Den Hul pentapolar connector 'The Tac'.
Professor Van Den Hul teaches metallurgy in the Netherlands and is one of the pioneers of composite materials.
In addition to OFC copper and silver, there is also conductive carbon fibre in the cable.
