Furutech's beautifully finished and equally important XLR sockets are the result of meticulous engineering and careful auditioning of various materials. The FT-786F features a pure copper α (Alpha) conductor for minimal impedance set in a super heat-resistant liquid crystal polymer resin and a non-resonant nylon/glass fiber housing containing Furutech's piezoelectric ceramic damping material. Unique to Furutech FT-786F special non-magnetic stainless steel plates incorporated into the construction of the piezoelectric compound using a special Furutech process.
