DENON DL-103

The Denon DL 103 is a low-output moving coil cartridge, a true legend and industry standard for several decades to the present day. The DL 103 provides a smooth response in many Hi-Fi systems and is able to bring out the full detail of audio performance while offering a highly pleasing sound.

The stylus has a 0.2 mm round cut and is placed, in full respect of the orientation of the crystal grains, on a cantilever with a special double-diameter structure.

The original cartridge shell represents a true sound box and is able to pick up all vibrations generated by the turntable.

The dimensions of the plate are: thickness 2.5 mm; width 18 mm; length 21.5 mm.

In the event that the compliance value is stated at 100 Hz (usually referring to Japanese cartridges), it simply has to be doubled to find its correspondence at 10 Hz. On the other hand, if the compliance is declared in static regime (usually on cartridges made in the USA), it must be halved to find its value at 10 Hz.
