The double disc 'Blues Jam at Chess' really needs no introduction: it is probably one of the greatest recorded blues recordings in the history of music! One only has to check the tracklist and the guests to understand what awaits us from listening to this masterpiece. The stars of this extraordinary show are the members of the British band Peter Green (guitar, vocals), Jeremy Spencer (guitar, vocals), Danny Kirwan (guitar, vocals), John McVie (bass) and Mick Fleetwood (drums), as well as some excellent Chicago blues artists such as Otis Spann (piano, vocals), Willie Dixon (bass), Buddy Guy (guitar) and others. Originally released in 1969 on Mike Vernon's label, Blue Horizon, this reissue, remastered from the original 1/4 inch tapes, can only become a must for all true collectors and blues lovers!
