Excellent mechanical properties and solid design are its main strengths. The clamping nut, consisting of two elements, one of which is free to rotate and has a cross-milled contact surface, allows for a solid, torsion-free clamping, thus minimising transition resistance. The terminal's elegant design is further enhanced by the shiny gold-plated surface to prevent corrosion. It complies with CE and IEC standards thanks to the complete Makrolon insulation of all its live parts.
Assembly
Mounting insulators are supplied and ensure not only insulated, but also torsion-proof and polarity-identifying mounting. Locknuts, double-step washers with lugs and mounting plates are also supplied. The jigsaw plates can be snapped onto each other. This guarantees a precise terminal spacing of 19 or 30 mm, but above all absolute protection against twisting. The nuts of devices with high levels of inherent mechanical vibration, such as loudspeakers, must be additionally secured, e.g. using the toothed washer WBT-9150. If a fixed distance of 19 mm is required, the WBT-9404 spacer can be used and the WBT-0765 installed as a double end cap. Thanks to the spacer's locking slots, the cable entry opening can be rotated by 45°.

Internal connection
- Indoors, cables with a conductor cross-section of up to 10 mm²/7 AWG can be used.
- WBT recommends the crimp connection method.
- You can use the supplied Torx screws and a T.6 Torx key to perfectly fix the cable ends.
- Connections can also be soldered, however.
- If you decide to solder, WBT recommends silver-plated surface solder WBT-0800.
