In recent years, there has been a revolution in the way people, mainly through media, have access to digital (real-time) content including photos, movies, and, of course, music. No longer dependent on physical media, our media is often data that is moved by multiple devices in multiple locations. For audio applications and protocols, the Ethernet connection offers the virtues of high speed and low delay time (latency), significant distance capability (328 feet without an active repeater), and extremely low jitter with perfect bit transfer. FEATURES

LONG-GRAIN SOLID COPPER CONDUCTORS (LGC): Solid conductors eliminate strand interaction distortion and reduce jitter. Long-grain solid copper conductors are excellent for very high frequency applications, such as Ethernet audio. These signals, being so high-frequency, travel almost exclusively on the conductor surface. Since the surface is made of high-purity silver, the performance is very similar to that of a solid silver cable, but the price is much closer to a solid copper cable. This is an incredibly cost-effective way to produce Ethernet cables of the highest quality.

HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE SOLID INSULATION: Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Cable insulation and circuit board materials all absorb energy (loss). Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. high density polyethylene insulation ensures a critical signal pair geometry by minimising insulation-induced phase distortion
