Triple shielded 'Halogen Free' balanced cable for RCA or XLR interconnects. Low Capacitance. Copper-Silver-Carbon and 3T improved conductors. 3 conductors including shielding

Cable sold here in unterminated lengths, supplied in one piece in the quantity purchased, the price refers to the metre

BRAND NEW VERSION with 7 strands of the new 3T alloy from Van Den Hul!

Schema per cavo semibilanciato

Van Den Hul's flagship, the D-102 mkIII is constantly evolving. Winner of numerous trophies, including the coveted ''Product of the Year'' designation by ''WHAT HIFI'' magazine.

The D-102 is a triple hybrid with a very high shielding factor offered here by the metre.

Professor Van Den Hul teaches metallurgy in the Netherlands and is one of the pioneers of composite materials.

In addition to OFC copper and silver, the cable also contains conductive carbon fibre and some strands of the newly acclaimed 3T conductor.

Its sound can be effectively described as pure, clean and three-dimensional, with a very high resolution.

A clear ruler in its class, which is also an excellent solution for multi-channel audio. Highly recommended.

"Van den Hul D102 MK 3. If you want subtle nuances, this cable will give them to you. If you want complex and massive sound stages, this cable will give them to you. If you want blood, thunder and storm, this cable will give it to you. In fact, the greatest virtue of this cable is that it gives everything there is to give, and if it isn't there, it probably wasn't there in the original either. It is beautiful to listen to at low levels, but at high volume it becomes stupendous. Even more so. At high volume it still sounds tremendously clean and clear, just much louder - and that's not an easy thing to achieve."

FEATURES

3T - a revolution in the audio cable industry

All galvanic conductors used in today's audio industry are made of soft metals. The advantage is that there are many free electrons available. This is advantageous for the conductivity of the cable. A large amount of free electrons automatically means a low conductor resistance. Traditionally, so-called 'experts' like to see this.

The disadvantage of this choice is that the conductors can be reshaped rather easily as they do not have a stable internal structure. These metals are also very sensitive to thermal, chemical and mechanical ageing. For this reason, the sound changes drastically in a relatively short period of time. The result is that you have to buy a new pair, history repeats itself, etc. etc. . Not really a great way to have a long-lasting system.

To have a more lasting answer to the above problem, Van Den Hul was the first company to start producing a series of completely metal-free conductors by applying Linear Structure Carbon (LSC).

Another ten years of research, starting with Fusion Technology, has finally led to a new revolution in the world of conductors: 3T (True Transmission Technology).

The idea behind the 3T concept is to use as many electrons as possible to bind metal atoms together. The disadvantage of slightly higher impedance is more than compensated for by the rigid structure of the conducting material. The only way to do this is to, once again, ignore the general point of view and go in a completely new direction.

The basis (and eventual outcome) of this research is:

1. No mechanical or chemical ageing.
2. There are no metal layers in the conductor to prevent any chemical activity between them.
3. Great mechanical flexibility for an extremely small bending radius.
4. High mechanical strength. At least 150 Kg/mm2.
5. An amorphous structure so that there are no crystalline margins in the conductive material
6. Completely stable at higher temperatures (up to 250 degrees Celsius).
7. A truly stable structure turns out to be possible only in a mixture of various metals in an exact ratio. In the end, it turned out that five metals and one non-metal were required.
8. Extremely long duration without any change in sound characteristics.
9. A very short break-in. After about two hours, good results can be expected. After only 48 hours, the cables reach their optimum balance.
10. Very high resolution during playback.
11. Thanks to this high resolution, excellent audible acoustics.
12. No dynamic limitation.
13. In particular, the spectrum between 40 Hz-200 Hz and 2 kHz-15 KHz must remain perceptible. A lot of conductors have offered problematic experiences in this area.
14. Last but not least: applicable in industrial situations.

This whole list of properties is packed together within the 3T Van Den Hul conductors.

CARBON WITH LINEAR STRUCTURE L.S.C.

Linear structure carbon (L.S.C.) is an unbroken chain of perfectly aligned carbon atoms in multiple individually insulated fibres.
This results in a very thermally, chemically and mechanically stable conductor, superior to any metal.
Its sound properties remain the same over time, unlike any metal.
By applying Linear Structured Carbon (L.S.C.) in our products, we avoid harsh sounds and, in doing so, improve spatial information, very smooth articulation of the midrange, and extremely high resolution are the results. We apply it in this cable as unique conductors.

The sheathing of these cables is another VAN DEN HUL patent called HULLIFLEX:

HULLIFLEX:

Hulliflex is the registered name of a globally patented material specifically designed by VAN DEN HUL.
It is very flexible and combines high chemical stability with superb signal conductor protection.
It improves both the durability and sound quality of the product.
For obvious environmental reasons, Hulliflex contains no PVC or halogen materials.
