In recent years, there has been a revolution in the way people, mainly through media, have access to digital (real-time) content including photos, movies, and, of course, music. No longer dependent on physical media, our media is often data that is moved by multiple devices in multiple locations. For audio applications and protocols, the Ethernet connection offers the virtues of high speed and low delay time (latency), significant distance capability (328 feet without an active repeater), and extremely low jitter with perfect bit transfer. FEATURES

SOLID COPPER CONDUCTORS WITH 1.25 % SILVER: solid conductors eliminate strand-to-strand interaction distortion and reduce jitter. Silver-plated conductors are excellent for very high frequency applications, such as Ethernet audio. These signals, being high-frequency, travel almost exclusively on the conductor surface. Since the surface is pure silver, the performance is very similar to that of a solid silver cable, but much closer to solid copper cable. This is an incredibly economical way to produce Ethernet cables of the highest quality.

HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE SOLID INSULATION: Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. The insulation materials of the wire and circuit board all absorb energy (loss). Some of this energy is stored and later released as distortion. Solid high-density polyethylene insulation ensures a critical signal pair geometry, minimising insulation-induced phase distortion.
